Nevis ensemble

Witherby Publishing Group Charitable Trust has been a strong supporter of Nevis Ensemble in its aim to take music to everyone, everywhere helping the organisation in different parts of its activity since 2018. 

This includes supporting core costs, helping the creating of training placements for musicians to learn about different aspects of arts management, funding the Barra performances of the orchestra’s tour of the Outer Hebrides, and supporting a day of performances in community venues and public spaces around Glasgow, which brought together 40 singers from communities around the city - as well as the orchestra, to perform in shopping streets, hospitals and for a children’s centre and refugee groups. 

Witherby’s support has been used to help areas of Nevis’ development, which is a young organisation and is greatly appreciated.
